Fabulous Five // September

Seasons are changing, university has started again and I’ve moved back into my own apartment after 3 months of summer holidays – during which I lived at my parents’ house. A lot of things are changing so I thought it was time to give my blog a little makeover as well. Hope you like it! Next to that, I’d like to introduce a new kind of monthly articles I’ll be posting from now on: “Fabulous Five”. The idea is that at the end of each month, I’ll make a top 5 selection of my favorite items I bought during that month, whether it’s makeup, clothes or something else. These are my favorites for September, so enjoy!

All white // Poppy Lovers Fashion

Hi guys! Sadly enough, summer is slowly coming towards an end, and I’m fully using these last sunny and hot days to wear my favorite summer clothes one last time. Okay wait, I’m actually lying. Summer’s not quite over yet for me: on Wednesday, I’m flying to Spain for a week. Yep! Sun, sea, vamos a la playa, churros, tapas and all that! Thank god, because I’m honestly not mentally ready yet to dig my winter jacket and boots out of my closet…

Life’s a circus // DRESSFO

I received this gorgeous striped dress with a side split from DRESSFO a few days ago. As part of a collaboration, I got to pick out a few pieces of clothing and this was the first item that came in the mail. I think it’s perfect for a day on the beach or for a shopping trip on a hot day.

Trend spotted // maxi skirts

The maxi skirt (or dress) is definitely an item I believe every (remotely) fashionable woman should have in her closet this summer – and more particularly for the following reasons.

Off-shoulder blouse // NA-KD

Another hype I absolutely adore for this summer is the off-shoulder trend. A few months ago I already bought a blue off-shoulder dress from ZARA, which I’m wearing in this photo. Last week I received a surprise package full of clothes and accessories from NA-KD. This white blouse was one of the items they sent me and needless to say, I was immediately obsessed.

Trend spotted // culottes

I have to admit it: I’m often quite sceptic when I see certain upcoming trends on the catwalk, and that wasn’t any different when I saw models wearing culotte trousers for the first time. I don’t know why, but they somehow reminded me of my grandma. Combine that with the fact that the only trousers I’ve worn for the past ten years are skinny jeans and you’ll understand the issue I had with these culottes.

Those who follow me on Twitter might already have read some tweets about the fashion app AMAZE, which I work together with. I thought it was time to tell you something more about its concept and how the app exactly works.

Back to the 90s

Even though I was only born in 1995 and I don’t recall that much of my childhood years before 2000, something I do remember is running around the garden wearing jeans overalls and a plastic black choker necklace (I’m pretty sure you know which one I’m talking about, basically every girl owned one back then).

How many clichés can fit in one post?

Where to start? Good question.

If there’s a general rule on how to start your very first blog post, I’d like to know since I honestly have no idea where to begin. I figure the logical step would be to tell you something more about myself first… (cliché, I know)
